Head West
A new addition this year is Bike Games at River Valley Raceway in Watts, OK on Friday and Saturday. Check out their website for details at www.rivervalleymx.com. Games include the weave, slow bike race, barrel race, weenie bite, water balloon toss and more.
Bike Builders Breakfast
Fifty lucky bikers will have the chance to eat and visit with prominent custom motorcycle builders at the Bike Builders Breakfast on Friday morning. Only fifty tickets available, so get them quick. Tickets are available at rally headquarters in the Walton Arts Center, or at the rally tent on the Baum Stadium parking lot. Breakfast is 7 a.m. Friday at the Clarion hotel in Fayetteville. Tickets are $25 each.
Kiddie Control
A kids area sponsored by Cadbury Schweppes and Mott’s, will feature a Velcro wall, bouncy slide and bounce house this year. Times: 5pm-10pm Wed, Thurs, Friday. 10am-10pm Saturday.
Tricky
ILL Conduct and Tulsa’s Most Hated Stunt Team will perform motorcycle stunt shows on the Baum Stadium parking lot on Friday an Saturday. No hours available yet.
Take A Token
Official event merchandise and beer can be purchased with tokens instead of paper tickets this year. Tokens can be purchased at every beer garden in $1 and $5 amounts. A select portion of the $5 tokens will feature the 10th anniversary logo as a commemorative keepsake. In addition to the rally beer gardens and merchandise tents, these tokens will be accepted at Mickey Finn’s, George’s, Railhead Saloon, Buster’s, 21st Amendment, Rogers Rec, Jose’s, both Foghorns’ locations and the AMP.
Pony Up
There will be a $1 admission/donation after 6 pm on Friday and Saturday at the Main Stage to help raise additional funds.
Four Fast Wheels
Coors is bringing one of their NASCAR show cars. No other details yet.
Raffle Items
This year there are three great raffle items:
1. 2009 Harley-Davidson Crossbones (value $18,000)
2. Gibson Dove Acoustic/Electric Guitar (value $4,500)
3. Custom built three (3)-bike motorcycle trailer (value $2,500)
Raffle tickets are only $5 each or five (5) for $20. All tickets can be purchased at the Bikes, Blues & BBQ HQ booth near the Walton Arts Center on Dickson Street, The Fayetteville Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and Pagnozzi Charities.
I Do
Weddings will be performed on the main stage Saturday at 2:15 pm and 5 p.m.
