Contestants for the Biker Babes contest take the stage Thursday night at George

Nikki White, 18, of Fayetteville, saw no reason to throw away a bunch of money on an expensive designer bikini for the Bikes Babes bikini contest Thursday night.

“I just wore my bra and panties,” she mewed, standing outside the George’s Majestic Lounge after the contest. She pranced out barefoot on the stage to screams and a flurry of phone camera flashes.

“I’ve never done this before,” she slurred, while the three other contestants were lining up for a last twirl around the stage.

Her dream job, she says, is to be a hair dresser.

Mraina Caldwell, 18, of Fayetteville, and who works as saleswoman at Journeys in the Northwest Arkansas Mall was the lucky Babe, picking up the $100 cash prize in the contest. She’ll be back Saturday for the finals. The prize that night is $2,000.

Sarah Spencer, 22, of Kansas City, Mo., and a student at William Jewell College, was extra excited in her red bikini with white polka dots and a sequin-studded bandana.

“I’m a hard-core biker-chic,” she yelled after the contest.

Casey Wilson, 21, and a waitress at AQ Chicken in Springdale, said if she had won the prize, she’d give it to charity.
